Live Long University Wits!!!

  “An upstart crow beautified with our feathers”, I would add, Robert Greene’ is not of his times but for all times. His attack on William Shakespeare for his fame despite his 'disqualification' of not being a university educate, is timeless. Literary figures including Shelley, Byron and Keats too have faced music and been addressed as the members of 'cockney school of poetry'. What one becomes or unbecomes does not entirely depend on one’s academics. My being a post graduate from a “non standard” university through distance mode has often been a matter of laughter, mockery and under estimation among the peers at workplaces. These ‘University Wits’ being proud for their accomplishment, marginalize and victimize these poor ‘Shakespeares’. (I did not mean that I am Shakespeare).
